Inspection Services

Scope of Inspection

Our home inspections are conducted according to the Standards of Practice of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). The inspection:

Is visual in nature and non-invasive
Covers readily accessible systems and components
Provides a general condition assessment
Does not predict future conditions or failures

Limitations

The inspection does not include:

Code compliance assessment
Environmental hazards testing
Inspection of concealed or inaccessible areas
Engineering or architectural services
Cost estimates for repairs

Scheduling and Cancellation

24-hour notice required for cancellation
Rescheduling subject to availability
Weather-related cancellations may be necessary for safety
Cancellation fees may apply

Payment Terms

Payment required at time of service
Accepted payment methods: credit card, cash, check
Additional fees may apply for special services
Returned check fee: $35

Report Delivery

Digital report delivered within 24 hours
Report access requires full payment
Reports are confidential and provided only to the client
Additional recipients require client authorization

Liability and Limitations

Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the inspection. We are not responsible for:

Repairs or replacement costs
Hidden or latent defects
Future changes in condition
Consequential damages

Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from our services shall be resolved through:

Written notification within 10 days of discovery
Opportunity to reinspect before repairs
Mediation before litigation
Arbitration if mediation unsuccessful
